for several reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides its strategic location, Tilcara has several things to do in the town itself, good places to eat, accommodation options for different budgets and a constant buzz, especially in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In this post I'll tell you <strong>what to see and do in Tilcara<\/strong>, why it works so well as a base for exploring class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tilcara is very well connected within the province of Jujuy, making it easy to get there whether you travel by public transport or your own From the <strong>new bus terminal<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/Nn3NdXikLY2seMUTA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">see on map<\/a>) buses leave very frequently throughout the day along National Route 9, with intermediate stops in towns of the ravine. be about 400 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you must cross a small hill and from there, start walking along the side of a stream going into the valley, in the opposite direction to the route (depending rocks, which serves as the final climb towards one of the <strong>best viewpoints in the Quebrada de Humahuaca<\/strong>, at least in my opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure You can use this guide or the <a href=\"https:\/\/elprismadefer.gumroad.com\/l\/tilcara-huichaira-castle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">file you can download<\/a> which shows the entire trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Tilcara, they recommend booking a tour to get to this place, but it's not cheap. First, I spent a few days at <a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/45Mrh0t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tilcara Hostel<\/a>, a great option if you're traveling alone or looking to socialize.
