I arrived in Fez with very high expectations. As one of Morocco's imperial capitals, I imagined a city that would impress me from the very first moment. However, what I found upon arrival didn't quite convince me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over a thousand years of history, Fez was the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco for centuries, and its medina, a medieval labyrinth declared a World Heritage Site, remains a place where time seems to have stood still. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this post, I'm going to tell you about my experience exploring Fez, from my first impressions to the most interesting places to visit. I'll also share what to see in the medina, how to get around the city, some practical tips, and my honest opinion on whether it's really worth including in a trip to Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n
